Rufia Tinto (Red) 2018

A winner for food. A dry red with medium tannin and a round body. Notes of dark fruits punching through with an overall balance which is pleasant. Medium alcohol at 12%.

Rufia Tinto 2018 is a blend of:

- Rufete 50%

- Mencia 25%

- Touriga Nacional 25%

10 day fermentation until completely dry. Left on the Lees for 9 months in stainless steel with a further year of ageing.

Unfiltered and bottled in August 2020.

Go for grilled chops or lamb cutlets, would work very well with savoury mushroom dishes for a vegetarian or vegan option.
