Arinto grapes pressed Curtimenta (Trodden) in a traditional Lagare (large open stone vat). 

4 Months maceration and 6 months in barrel. 

Produced in the Minho region of Northern Portugal, by Ricardo and Anna Moreira at Quinta da Penhó.

Results are amber coloured wine with a complex zesty apricot and nutty aroma, a very confident wine with balance and a good posture.

12.5% alcohol and very versatile with food. Will compliment traditional parings of fish and pork and can even pair well with asian flavours of kimchi and pad thai.

This wine will also develop with age more, tertiary aromas and notes. So worthy of saving for that special occasion. But why wait?
